Agee Construction of Clovis spent 3 weeks building the footings to hold the bridge. After the forms were built, Outback Concrete of Auberry, Bowman Pumping of Madera and Agee Construction poured concrete. On July 8, the four bridge sections from the Excel Bridge Manufacturing Company were delivered by truck from Los Angeles. By the end of that day, our bridge installer, McElvany Inc. of Los Banos, had moved the four sections down our road to the bridge location. On July 9, they placed the sections on the bridge footings. After 12 years of fund raising and 4 weeks of construction, we had a bridge.
