Camp El-O-Win is an organization run exclusively by volunteers. It takes volunteers to keep Camp El-O-Win open for affordable camping opportunities for girls. We have a small but mighty group who knows how to have fun and create a safe place for girls to grow their self-esteem, self-reliance, and respect for the environment.
We need special people who understand the value that camp brings to girls. Spend a weekend with us at Camp El-O-Win.
Camp Opening and Closing
We need help to get Camp El-O-Win ready for the summer and help in closing the camp in the fall. We have jobs that involve sweeping, cleaning, scraping and painting, moving mattresses, raking pine needles and removing downed trees. Young and old can get involved. You supply the muscle and we provide the meals. Check the Camp Calendar for the dates.
Maintenance
Do you have electrical, plumbing or carpentry experience? We need your help!
Program Volunteers
If you would like to get involved in creating and running a program, please contact us. If you would like to support the programs by assisting with the events or by helping with the kitchen duties (cooking/cleaning) for the campers, contact us by email info@campelowin.org or call (559) 320-5439.
Committee Volunteers
There are many opportunities to get involved: Serve on the Friends of Camp El-O-Win Board of Directors or on a Board Committee. We hold fundraising events to raise money for camp. The more the merrier – join us!
